Newcastle Art Gallery holds one of the most significant collections outside of state and national institutions in Australia. Among the collection are national icons, well-loved favourites, and unexpected gems. We're delighted to share a diverse and vibrant collection, including rich holdings of First Nations painting, mid-century abstraction, and Japanese avant-garde ceramics.
